*BEAUTY MARK POTS* HAVE AESTHETIC FLAWS THAT DO NOT EFFECT THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE PIECE FOR ITS INTENDED USE, IE HOLDING LIQUIDS
This pot has a funky footing, NOT BECAUSE I tried to add a foot ring after casting, due to human error while drying, they dried unevenly and cracked, I decided to keep them anyways because these were surface level cracks, all aesthetic, did not hurt the functionality of the pieces, please see photos
BUT BECAUSE THE GLAZE RAN SO MUCH IT TOOK LITTLE CHOMPS OUT OF THE FOOTRING

These do not have handles - hands wrap around the piece giving it a hand hug
*Caution is advised if using for hot liquids
-heat transfer to outside depends on temp of liquids inside just like a regular mug, more milk or creamer cools the drink liquids quicker
-if you leave a gap at the top of the cup you can carry it there
-when it is cool enough to drink, it will be cool enough to hold

Everything is made by my hands, pieces are handled many times in their creation, sometimes there is evidence of this forever preserved within the piece.

My mugs are formed from flat slabs of clay, joining the clay together creates seams accentuating its unique personality, the rim may not be 100% circular.

Hugmugs are made using slipcasting techniques using liquid clay and plaster moulds, all of the plaster moulds and designs are made by me in studio.

Working with ceramics I have learned not to fall in love with something until it has made it through all of the stages.

-My glazes are all made by me in studio using glaze recipes of raw materials & a lot of testing
-Due to the differences in monitor settings, colours may appear different. The glazes really come alive in natural light
-Pots containing gemstone or metal accents, are NOT microwave and dishwasher safe

Stoneware pots are fairly durable but they can break. Use with caution and care. Glaze is a layer of glass essentially, if you drop it, it will probably break.
